Why This Watch Matters
The beauty of this sporty chronograph lies under the hood, in the reliable and renown Valjoux 7733 movement that powers it.
The Full Story
Wittnauer is a name that is usually recognized as the U.S. importer for Longines watches, but they were also a watch manufacturer in their own right. This Pro-Chronograph is a great example of their craftsmanship. This timepiece has everything we want in a tool watch with its black matte dial that has turned to a nice chocolate-y color. The contrasting red bezel adds a pop of color, while the oversized handset adds some character. But the best part about this watch is the reliable Valjoux 7733 movement that powers it. A whole lotta bang for your buck.

What we Love and What You Should Know
This watch is in very good condition with minimal scratches throughout the case. The bezel has a couple of nicks. The dial is well preserved and has no flaws. It should be noted that the lume on the handset is slightly darker than on the indexes; while we don’t believe this watch to be re-lumed, the hands and indexes still glow faintly for a short amount of time. The bracelet was added later but is very crisp.
